The Commonwealth Games Village Sports Complex is visited by hundreds each day. During the 2010 Commonwealth Games and on many days in subsequent years, the area has seen poor air quality.

However, on Monday, the AQI at the nearest air monitoring station was pegged at 89 amid rainfall.
