The air quality index around the Supreme Court complex was in the “very poor“ category on Monday.

On a day several parts of the city recorded a “severe“ AQI, the Supreme Court Bar Association had flagged off a walkathon on Sunday. Last week, the court declined an immediate hearing on petitions that sought urgent action on the capital’s air crisis.
