Actors Manav Kaul and Zeeshan Ayyub, celebrated for their powerful performances on screen, return with a new web series, Real Kashmir Football Club, releasing on SonyLIV on December 9. The two actors recently visited Newslaundry’s studio, where they spoke candidly about their web series and other topics.
During this conversation, they gave straight and honest answers on everything from Kashmir and their characters to the ‘disease’ of propaganda spreading from films to newsrooms.
Zeeshan explained the difference between an actor and a star and how commercial films are made to turn a profit. While discussing their upcoming web series, the actors also shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes about their experiences filming it. Manav Kaul, who hails from Kashmir, also spoke about his connection to the region and his life there.
