I am writing regarding Hafta 598. Shri Anand often holds views contrary to the panel and the audience; while I usually find his arguments fallacious, I typically overlook them. However, he misrepresented Nirupama Menon Rao by suggesting she was aligned with the government. She was merely explaining that a passport does not “create” citizenship, nor is it the definitive legal instrument if status is challenged in court.

This government’s tendency to treat documents as “non-evidentiary” when it suits them is deeply concerning – it is a form of institutional cruelty to deny individuals rights based on political dislike. 

A recent letter asked if Shri Anand was on the panel specifically to defend the government. Although the team denied this, I find his persistent partisanship difficult to reconcile.

I've noticed a few times that Abhinandan mentions the NYT and Ezra Klein quite a few times during his conversations. After the way they’ve covered the Israel invasion of Gaza, isn't it time you moved on from such “thought leaders”? 

Especially Ezra Klein, who said Charlie Kirk “did politics the right way”.  

Yes, Charlie Kirk, who said: 

- Passing the Civil Rights Act was a mistake 

- ’Muslims’ in Gaza deserved to die 

And so much other egregious stuff?
