A Times Now reporter was heckled and manhandled by supporters of Kapil Mishra when she tried to question the BJP leader about his role in the communal violence in North East Delhi.

A series of videos tweeted out by the TV channel earlier in the evening show female supporters of Mishra heckling the reporter, Parvina Purkayastha. One of them then lunges at her and tries to snatch her mike.

The incident occurred at Jantar Mantar, where Mishra had arrived with his supporters to lead a “peace march”. The BJP politician is accused of directly inciting the violence, which has left at least 34 people dead and hundreds injured.
